SCENE 1 | Farmer Todd, Elmo, and Abby have baked a delicious pie, but before they can eat it, they must wait for it to cool off. Elmo gets impatient, so Todd points him and Abby away from the pie to pass the time. But while they're gone, a shadow in the distance snatches their sweet treat. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | The three come back to a dismantled pie, wondering who would take such a thing. The two first look at Grover, just in case he may be the culprit. Grover did no such thing, but does have evidence: he heard a sound, an "om nom nom nom nom nom nom" to be exact. Not only that, but he saw the "mysterious and shadow-y" shadow of the thief, and he also claims that they bawked like a chicken. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | The two then interrogate the chicken pen and goat pen, but Farmer Todd explains neither of the two animals could have feasibly been the one to eat their pie. Abby almost gives up, stating that "it's not like the answer is just going to walk right up to us," but Cookie Monster walks right up to them with his friend Shelly (Jennifer Barnhart) and a missing helmet. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | The three then arrive in the spot where Cookie lost his helmet, and when he puts it on, Abby and Elmo realize that Cookie's shadow is identical to the one Grover saw, and Shelly could easily explain the bawking sounds. Mystery solved, but they still want pie. Farmer Todd swoops in and offers to make a new one with the apples in his orchard. |
