SCENE 1 | Norbert arrives to show Nina, Elmo, and Tamir some new tricks he has taught Alfred: "come" and "give me a high five." Norbert then leaves Alfred outside so he can help Nina lift some boxes, and Elmo and Tamir are now in charge of the robot dog. Things begin smoothly, with Alfred giving Tamir a high five, but when Elmo asks the same request Alfred bonks into a table and begins to malfunction. He starts moving uncontrollably and saying the wrong animal sounds. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Elmo and Tamir try to chase after him, and find him hiding behind a trash can. They go over to him, and attempt to make him come, but he runs away, still malfunctioning. Elmo then wonders if something's wrong with him, so Tamir shows Elmo the plans they used to build him, and Tamir finds that Alfred must have hit a button, and they need to hit it again to fix it. Elmo thinks it'd be easy to press it, until he realizes he'd need to catch him first. This is a problem, so Elmo and Tamir wonder what they could do to solve it. Elmo points out that Tango always comes when he has a ball, so what if they use a ball to catch Alfred? Let's try! |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Tamir and Elmo hold out a ball for Alfred to catch. Tamir does catch Alfred in his hands, but Alfred manages to get away. They then try luring him with treats, but he refuses it and runs away. They then meet up with Bert at Hooper's Store. Bert has not seen Alfred, but he does have a new super-duper paper clip collector, which is a fishing pole with a magnet on the end. Tamir and Elmo are at first uninterested in Bert's device, but they realize that magnets attract metal, and Alfred is made of metal. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Tamir and Elmo then create a super-duper robot dog catcher, and use it to catch Alfred and press the button to turn him back to normal. |
