COLD OPEN | Accompanied by a fish, a flower, a dog, and a rock, Elmo says today is all about a way they're all alike: they're all part of nature. |

SCENE 1 | Elmo looks around the community garden to find what everyone's growing. He finds Norbert and Alfred growing beautiful flowers to give everyone on Sesame Street. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | He then finds Bert and Ernie growing different things. Bert's growing blueberries, because pigeons like berries, and Bert loves pigeons. Ernie's growing a fern, which needs shade to grow, which is why he's holding an umbrella over it. Ernie asks the fern about its conditions, which Bert thinks is silly until the fern responds. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | He is then distracted by Gonger yelling at Cookie Monster not to eat the signs. Elmo decides to leave the two to it and check on Kayla, Rosita, and Zoe, who are helping with Alan's vegetable garden. There, he feels a drop of water on his head and finds Slimey in a helicopter pouring water from above. Elmo asks Tamir about it, and he explains that he needs a way to keep the garden watered when he's away at robotics camp. His helicopter invention turned out to be too inefficient, even if Slimey continues to show his water-dropping skills on Elmo's head. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Tamir had two other ideas: putting watering cans on a clothesline (but he didn't have a way to refill the cans) and moving paint cans with holes on the bottom that continue to be refilled as they pass a bucket of water (but he didn't have a way to make this contraption go). The two are then interrupted by a porcupine apologizing for sitting on and breaking Tamir's water bottle. This gives Tamir an idea: he tapes the hole-covered bottle to a garden hose to create a sprinkler. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | This solves one issue, but because the sprinkler is only in one place, plants near that spot will receive too much water and others won't receive enough. Tamir then spots Alfred and realizes he can attach the sprinkler to the dog's back, and the plants will be watered as he moves around. The problem is solved... until Alfred spots a squirrel and immediately starts chasing it. The hose gets tangled with several objects in the garden that all fall over. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | The problem remains unsolved, until the porcupine almost sits on the garden hose. This gives Tamir another idea: if the porcupine sits on an old hose and creates lots of holes, it can create a drip irrigation system. It works! The problem has been solved, but that doesn't stop Slimey from dropping one last drop of water on Elmo's head. |
