SCENE 1 | Elmo trikes in on a very busy Alan, who has been receiving delivery requests (including from Nina, Mrs. Crustworthy, and Gabrielle), all day, and he and Grover can't keep up with them all. Rosita and Charlie then arrive (Rosita on scooter, Charlie on bike), and Alan mentions his desire for vehicles to help with the deliveries. Elmo wishes to help, thinking of various vehicles he could operate (including a delivery truck, a train, a tractor, and a racecar). After Rosita points out that Elmo can't drive, Elmo is sad thinking he doesn't have a vehicle to help Alan with, until he realizes his tricycle is a vehicle. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Realizing they all have vehicles, Elmo, Charlie, and Rosita decide to help Alan out and dub their new delivery service "The Tasty Transport." The Tasty Transport sings a song as they deliver everyone's lunch... then bump into each other. They need a way to figure out which vehicles go first, and Rudy shows up to help them out. Rudy shows them red and green signs to hold up, indicating when vehicles should stop and go. The song continues as the final bags are delivered, after which Grover takes a much-needed rest. |
