SCENE | Today, Cookie Monster is baking specialized cookies for all his friends on Sesame Street ("Cookie Cart"). After delivering Tamir's puzzle-piece-shaped cookie, Cookie Monster has one more cookie to share: an oatmeal cookie with chocolate chips and rainbow sparkles, Elmo's favorite kind of cookie just for him. Elmo walks by Cookie's Cookie Cart but seems to forget his cookie. Cookie Monster reminds Elmo, but Elmo rejects it, saying he had a big lunch and isn't hungry. Cookie Monster is perplexed... |

SCENE cont'd | Cookie and Tamir have brainstormed a list of things Elmo likes but can't decide what he likes best. Cookie Monster thinks he's got it: Elmo loves his puppy, Tango; a Tango-shaped cookie would surely satisfy him. |

SCENE cont'd | Cookie Monster shows Elmo the Tango-shaped cookie. Elmo loves the look of it but reminds Cookie Monster that he's not hungry. Tamir and Cookie are confused: how could Elmo not want a Tango-shaped cookie? Cookie Monster shows Elmo a few more cookie shapes, but he rejects all of them. Tamir deduces that, since changing the shape of the cookie didn't help, they should change the size. |

Cartoon | Tales from 123: Elmo Helps Cookie Open His Door During a game of fetch, Tango retrieves a mysterious key instead of her ball. Elmo searches around to see if he can find what the key is for. It's not for Grover's treasure chest or for the resident talking car, so Elmo guesses someone is missing their door key. Elmo makes a call on the Mighty Monster Megaphone to ask if anyone is missing their key. Cookie Monster is, and he freaks out because he can't access the cookies inside his apartment. Elmo assures Cookie that he has his key, but suddenly, a magnet exits the elevator and takes everyone's keys. Cookie is in despair as he's locked out of his cookies, so Elmo begins trying to unlock Cookie's door. As Cookie grows restless, eyeing the talking broccoli and eating wooden furniture, Elmo realizes that Cookie's keyhole is in the shape of a triangle. Tango grabs the triangle-shaped key off the magnet, and Cookie Monster is able to go home and stop eating inedible objects. When Elmo gets to his apartment to give Tango a treat, he realizes he left his key on the magnet. |
