Eric the Yodeling Clam was conducted by Gonzo in The Muppet Show episode 209.
Eric was supposed to be an act of Gonzo's, until he meets Madeline Kahn. When Gonzo tells Eric to "take five," he clamps down on Gonzo's nose. Madeline helps to free him from the clam's clutches, and then tells Gonzo that she thinks he's terrific on the show. Smitten by her compliments, Gonzo offers the clam to Scooter for chowder.
