Ernie Fosselius (b. 1945) is a filmmaker best known for his Star Wars parody Hardware Wars.
Fosselius began his career as an animator at Imagination Inc. in San Francisco, where he helped co-create 20 original animated films for the first three season of Sesame Street, including working on Pinball Number Count segments.[1][2]
Other credits include providing voices and sounds for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Star Wars: Episode VI โ Return of the Jedi (as Malakili, the Rancor keeper), Mel Brooks' Spaceballs, Ernest Scared Stupid, and Star Wars: Episode II โ Attack of the Clones (as Poggle the Lesser). He also contributed to the music score of Return of the Jedi and is credited with co-writing the song "Lapti Nek."
