Ernie thinks it's odd for Bert to be sad for no reason, and comes up with reasons to feel sad. Bert feels better after hearing this (and that there's no reason for him to feel sad), but Ernie's last idea (missing your best friend after he's moved) ends up making Ernie feel terrible.
