Just as the duo is about to dig into their ice cream, Ernie announces today they will be performing an experiment (which is news to Bert). Ernie tests to see what will happen if Bert eats slowly and Ernie eats fast. He makes Bert eat so slowly that before Bert can even try his first bite, Ernie eats his serving before it melts.
