Ether Kennedy during her visit on Sesame Street
Ethel Kennedy (1928-2024) was the wife of Senator and former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, sister-in-law of John F. Kennedy, and aunt of Caroline Kennedy.
Kennedy appeared on Sesame Street during its first season in Episode 0072,[1] reading a book called Sam about a misunderstood black boy.[2] She also appeared in a PBS Interstitial with the cast. Both were taped on December 17, 1969.[2][3]
