Ezra Knight is a voice artist and actor who voices Roof the train engineer in the Mecha Builders episodes "Stop That Train", "Cross That Bridge", and "The Pinecone Palooza."
Knight acted on the New York City stage in the 1990s, playing the Duke of Cornwall to F. Murray Abraham as King Lear off-Broadway. He lent his voice to audiobooks as a narrator beginning around the same time (later including biographies of Jimi Hendrix and Barack Obama), and in 2001 he was heard on Scifi.com's Seeing Ear Theater online audio dramas, including "The Elevator and the Pole" (with Stanley Tucci), installments of the Tales from the Crypt and City of Dreams subseries, and the miniseries Kindred (with Alfre Woodard and Ruby Dee). He narrated the documentary series Secrets of the Earth, dubbed French actor Jean Bejote Njamba in Arthur and the Invisibles, and recurred on the animated series Pinkalicious & Peterrific.
Knight did character voices for several Rockstar videogame titles including Midnight Club: Los Angeles, Grand Theft Auto VII, and Red Dead Redemption II. On-camera, Knight has been on four incarnations of Law & Order (including thrice as a judge on the original), Third Watch, Ugly Betty, Orange is the New Black, Daredevil, a 2018 episode of Murphy Brown, and Ordinary Joe (three episodes as Professor Lamson). Broadway musicals include Pretty Woman: The Musical and Mean Girls.
