Falaak is the silver-haired prefect of 200 clans in the Farscape episode "A Prefect Murder." As prefect, Falaak oversees the numerous clans, each with their own ways of life.
Only in recent history did the clans adopt a unified government. In the clans' system, prefects remain in power for six months before transferring power to another, often a disruptive process. Now, with his term coming to a close, Falaak doesn't want to give up his rule to the progressive Gaashah. Falaak secretly hires E'Alet to assassinate the clan chieftains, hoping to incite a war.
However, the arrival of the Moya crew complicates things, and eventually Falaak is found out. After he's caught, Falaak decides he won't be judged by any council for his actions. He jumps out a window, plummeting thousands of feet to his death.
