Issue #1: A Many-Splendor'd Thing[]

Farscape Comics (65)
Release Date: August 26, 2009

D'Argo, thanks to a deal with the Peacekeepers, now possesses the location of his wife Lo'Laan's murderer, Macton Tal. On his way, D'Argo reminisces about when he first met her.

Many years ago, D'Argo recovers at a Diagnosan's enclave after enduring torture by the Scorvians. A Sebacean exobiologist named Lo'Laan tends to him, having never studied a Luxan in person. The two become close over the course of his recovery as she helps him heal, including re-learning how to walk.

A Luxan captain visits D'Argo in his hospital room. Though D'Argo saved Sterikk's life by impersonating him, he technically violated Luxan law in the process. To avoid a court-martial, D'Argo resigns his commission.

When D'Argo is discharged by the Diagnosans, Lo'Laan invites him to the pastoral world of Havenik, a Sebacean colony. D'Argo buys a plot of land and builds a house, with Lo'Laan often visiting. He eventually asks her to stay with him forever.

Though his life with Lo'Laan is good, D'Argo faces discrimination by the other colonists. Lo'Laan's brother Macton, a Peacekeeper, even travels to Havenik to confront her over her relationship with "that creature." In spite of how others feel about them, D'Argo asks Lo'Laan to marry him, to which she agrees.

Issue #2: Brotherly Hate[]

Farscape Comics (31)
Release Date: September 9, 2009

It's been a year since D'Argo's marriage to Lo'Laan. With help from Dr. Yklem, they are able to conceive a son. Once again, Macton confronts Lo'Laan after hearing that she is pregnant with "an abomination."

Macton reports to his commanding officer that D'Argo and Lo'Laan are producing offspring. While Peacekeeper military law only applies to Peacekeepers, meaning D'Argo and Lo'Laan are legally able to marry, diluting the Sebacean bloodline is a different story.

In a market, D'Argo has another outburst of hyper-rage after two xenophobic shoppers assault him. Lo'Laan and D'Argo agree to secretly move to another planet, far away from Peacekeeper influence, and they do so after their son Jothee is born.

The family settles down and lives in peace for several years. However, Macton is able to track them down. While D'Argo and Jothee are on a hike, Macton murders Lo'Laan and frames it on D'Argo.

Issue #3: The Long Tenka of the Law[]

Farscape Comics (33)
Release Date: October 14, 2009

D'Argo and Jothee are forced to go on the run as the Peacekeepers swarm their house. D'Argo contacts his old mentor Gerrid for help, and he provides them with a ship. Jothee objects, wanting to avenge his mother. However, D'Argo explains that they wouldn't be able to beat the Peacekeepers, and they need to live to fight another day.

When Gerrid's ship arrives, D'Argo decides to stay behind, explaining to his son that the Peacekeepers are less likely to go after Jothee with D'Argo in custody.

As the ship flies away, D'Argo is placed under arrest for the murder of Lo'Laan Tal.

In the past, D'Argo is placed on trial headed by a tribunal consisting of Bialar Crais, Frin Lorvak, and Tav Josbek. After hearing testimony, the tribunal votes to condemn D'Argo and sentences him to life imprisonment, despite objections from Crais, who voted to release the Luxan.
