Farscapelogo

In April 2008 it was announced that the Jim Henson Company had partnered with BOOM! Studios to produce a series of "Farscape" comics.[1] Series creator Rockne O'Bannon returned to develop the stories. The Farscape comic series has been accepted as official canon by both O'Bannon and the Henson Company.

It’s so exciting to work with BOOM! Studios on this project knowing that their team members are true fans of the show, working with one of our favorite comic publishers, we know our loyal supporters will enjoy these original adventures while new audiences will have a fantastic introduction to the Farscape universe.
—Brian Henson[1]

Farscape: Book One, silver edition

For the 25th anniversary of Farscape, BOOM! Studios released a new comic on September 4, 2024, titled "Farscape 25th Anniversary Special."

Additionally, BOOM! will re-release all issues of the main series and the spin-offs in two volumes — Farscape: Book One and Farscape: Book Two. According to the Kickstarter website, "Both books are available individually, as a softcover or hardcover or as a hardcover set, with or without a slipcase, and featuring a unique commemorative book design and enhancements." The two books will have a wide release in stores, but the commemorative editions are exclusive to the campaign.

Products related to the Kickstarter will begin shipping in January 2025.
