Ferlin Husky on The Jimmy Dean Show, where he did not need to comb his face
Ferlin Husky (1925-2011) was a country singer whose hits included "A Dear John Letter," "Gone," and "Wings of a Dove." The popular recording artist made TV appearances on Grand Ole Opry, The Ed Sullivan Show, The Jimmy Dean Show, and Hee Haw. His few acting credits include the B-movies Las Vegas Hillbillys, the sequel Hillbillys in a Haunted House (with John Carradine), and Swamp Girl.
