Ferlinghetti Donizetti is a poet on Sesame Street. His first name is taken from 1950s beat poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, while his last name comes from Italian opera composer Gaetano Donizetti. He is a self-proclaimed rhyming pro. He made his debut in Season 12.[1]

Ferlinghetti appeared most prominently in "Rappin' Alphabet," which also features Grover as a break dancer. He appeared briefly as a background character in the 1985 film Follow That Bird.
