One little girl tries listening and successfully brings him his kazoo. He appoints her the Royal Listener, who will listen to the king and tell the rest his requests.

Big Bird wants to look up one creature in particular and describes it bit by bit to David, who slowly inputs the info. The program registers many animals at first, but as the details get more specific, it finally narrows down Big Bird's descriptions to one animal - Snuffleupagus. David takes this in for a moment, then remarks, "I'm beginning to lose my faith in technology."

Ernie doesn't want to see them deflate, so he insists that they let the balloons go; that way the last time they see them, they'll be "fat and floaty". They let them fly out the window, and as soon as they get back into bed, Ernie, breaking the promise he made Bert that he'd go to sleep if they let the balloons go, asks Bert if the balloons are too cold up in the sky, and whether they'll end up in China. Frustrated, Bert throws a fit. Ernie asks him to keep it down.

Bob looks in the bowl and finds it's not a yucky alphabet soup at all. Timi reveals that she sent out for Chinese and has some wonton soup; Oscar's bowl has the actual alphabet soup. Bob and Linda leave once Oscar offers some of his, and Bob announces the sponsors.
