Scene | Elmo is trying to figure out how to get water for his very thirsty plants. He is looking in one of his books about Indians, and decides to try out a rain dance to make water for his plants. Elmo does his little dance, but there's no rain. He tries it once more, but with no effect. He decides to go and ask Dorothy for a way to make it rain. |

Scene | Signe comes by and Elmo tells her about about his problem of getting water for his thirsty plants and how he could not dance a proper rain dance. Signe tells him that she is sure that she is able to help him. Elmo asks her if she knows how to dance a rain dance, but Signe tells him that she knows another dance, a watering can dance. Elmo is excited and wants her to show it to him right away. Signe tells him that he should start humming "Venskabs-sangen" and then do what she does. They begin to dance out into the kitchen while humming the song. When they return, they each carry a watering can while repeating the word "vandekande" (watering can) and dance back into the room to Elmo's plants. But as they are about to water the plants they discover that they had forgotten to put water in the cans. They once again dance out to the kitchen to put water in the cans. |

Scene | They return to the plants and water them. Afterwards, Elmo tells Signe that he has become thirsty after all the water. Signe then tries to pour water on Elmo, but he manages to stop her. She tells him that the can is empty and that it's just for fun. Elmo then pretends to pour water on Signe. Elmo is happy that his plants are not thirsty anymore, and thanks his good friend Signe for helping him. They then sing "Venskabs-sangen". After the song they go into the kitchen to get some water to drink. |
