Bert Franzke

Bert Franzke (b. 1946) is a German voice actor who dubbed Rowlf and Cosmic Fish #2 in Muppets aus dem All (Muppets from Space), Ray on Der Bär im grossen blauen Haus (Bear in the Big Blue House), Cargn in three episodes of Farscape - Verschollen im All (Farscape), and the Gryphon in the Creature Shop-effects TV movie Alice in Wonderland.

Possessing a bass voice which he has also used in stage opera, Franzke dubbed Kevin McNally in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins Returns, Brian Cox in Braveheart, Richard Griffiths in Sleepy Hollow, Glenn Shadix in Planet of the Apes, Vincent Grass in J'accuse, Ricky Jay in Mystery Men, and Larry Block in My Blue Heaven. On-camera credits include episodes of Tatort and Polizeiruf 110.
