Direct Connect released three lines of Muppet plush.
Muppet University[]
The 1989 set of plush dolls included Kermit the Frog in a "Muppet University" sweatshirt, Miss Piggy in a poodle skirt, Fozzie Bear, Rowlf the Dog, Gonzo and Animal. The poodle-skirted Piggy may have been an early reference to "Muppet High", a proposed Muppet series featuring the Muppets as 1950s high school students.

Toytoons[]
In 1991, Direct Connect produced a set of smaller "Toytoons" dolls, with plastic heads and fabric bodies.

My First Muppet[]
Another 1991 set was called "My First Muppet", intended for toddlers. These dolls pictured the Muppet characters with a more youthful appearance, and were entirely plush.
