Clyde[1] was a green bird with a yellow beak who first appeared in the sketch "Birds in the Trees" from The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence. His character is defined by his call "For crying out loud!"
On The Muppet Show episode 309, he spoke to Liberace at the beginning of his concert for birds. In this appearance, he was performed by Jerry Nelson.
