Lester Holt (b. 1959) is a journalist and anchor of the NBC news programs Dateline NBC and NBC Nightly News. Holt hosted the weekend edition of the latter program before becoming the weekday anchor in 2015, replacing Brian Williams.
Holt cameoed in Sesame Street’s musical number for the 2019 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, sharing a treat with Cookie Monster on a tour bus.
