Nogginoid was a series of short promotional spots created for Noggin in 1999. As with the rest of the network's continuity at the time, the spots were produced by Sesame Workshop and the Jim Henson Company with Nickelodeon. They highlighted facts about Sesame Street, accompanied by clips of the characters. Many Nogginoid segments aired during Sesame Street Unpaved.

Grover, Big Bird, and Count von Count | Grover is written to represent the psychological age of a four-year-old. Big Bird is written to represent the psychological age of a six-year-old. Count von Count is written to represent the psychological age of a 1,832,652-year-old...and still counting. [Count: "One!"]

Big Bird and Mr. Hooper | Big Bird could never get Mr. Hooper's name right. [Big Bird: "Oh, wait, Mr. Looper?"] [Mr. Hooper: "Hooper!"] He also called him Mr. Snooper, Mr. Pooper, Mr. Scooper, and Mr. Cunningham.

- The book Sesame Street Unpaved features several of the same facts. Page 56 includes the statement that the Count represents the psychological age of a 1,832,652-year-old, and page 67 mentions the use of rice cakes instead of cookies for Cookie Monster.
