Sesame Street in Space is a Sesame Street coloring book that sets the Sesame Street location in space. Using a series of space-faring vehicles, several Sesame Street Muppets gear up as astronauts and perform their astral duties at cosmic versions of Hooper's Store and 123 Sesame Street. Their modes of transportation include an X-Wing from Star Wars and the USS Enterprise from Star Trek.
Characters include Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, Prairie Dawn, Grover, The Martians, Rodeo Rosie, Count von Count, Oscar the Grouch, Herry Monster, Cookie Monster, and Sam the Robot.
The book comes with four pages of stickers that can be placed on sixteen pages.
