Trombone Shorty (born Troy Andrews in 1986) is a renowned musician, producer and actor.
He performed at the 2018 Sesame Workshop Benefit Gala alongside the Sesame Street Muppet cast and an Anything Muppet caricature of himself.
Andrews has also had roles in TV and film, often as a trombonist, including Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, The Simpsons and The Peanuts Movie, providing the famous trombone sounds simulating the voices of the off-screen adults.
