Sesame Street Weebles

Weebles was a toy line produced by Hasbro in the 1970s and early 80s. Weebles are small plastic toys with a round base modeled after a clown punching bag. When pushed over, the weighted toys return to their upright position. The toy line is remembered for its advertising catchphrase, "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down."

Many popular children's characters were produced as Weebles, including Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, the Flintstones, Tarzan and Santa Claus.

The last set of Weebles, produced in 1982, was a Sesame Street set. Each Weeble featured two drawings of the character, in slightly different poses. Characters include Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, and Grover, as well as Little Bird on packaging.

Hasbro also produced several vehicles and playsets for the Sesame Weebles, including "Bert's Convertible", "Cookie Monster's Sailboat", "Ernie's Helicopter", "Big Bird's Plane" and "Bert and Ernie's Weebles Playground".
