Five Minutes More (sometimes known as "Only Five Minutes More") was performed on Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass.
The skit starred Beautiful Day Monster (performed by Jerry Nelson, wearing a red wig and a green dress) and a yet unnamed and non-speaking Gonzo, in his first TV appearance outside a cigar box.
The passionate female monster chases Gonzo all over the place, trying to get his affection while serenading him with a singing voice similar to Scred's on Saturday Night Live. The song ends with the two creatures running past the band, and the monster remarking to Herb: "Heya, big boy! I'll check you out later!"
Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass' version of this song can also be heard on the album What Now My Love.
