The Great Gonzo eats a rubber tire to the tune of "The Flight of the Bumblebee" in episode 101 of The Muppet Show. He only gets a few bites in before he is booed off the stage. A reproduction of the tire from this appearance was included with the Tuxedo Gonzo Action Figure.
Gonzo later plays the song on his bugle in episode 218, as Rowlf plays the piano and Animal chases a bumblebee.
The song is also featured on the Sesame Street album Elmo and the Orchestra.
