Floyd is a farm boy who appeared in Follow That Bird. Along with his sister Ruthie, he discovers Big Bird, initially remarking, "You're the biggest chicken I've ever seen." The two children befriend Big Bird, showing him the pleasures of farm life, and try to misdirect Miss Finch.
Floyd and Ruthie also appeared in the book Big Bird's Day on the Farm. Big Bird recalls his time on the farm with the two in The Sesame Street Podcast with Foley & Friends episode "Farms."
