A Flutebird appears in the Fraggle Rock episode "The Beast of Blue Rock." A bird with a flute for a beak, the creature plays accompaniment to the song "Brave Boy, Jump Up."
The bird appeared again in "The Voice Inside", providing accompaniment in the song "You're On Your Own". This time, its beak sounded like a muted trumpet. The puppet later returned in Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock.
