A Flying Whoopie Cushion appears in the Fraggle Rock episode "Boober's Dream." The Whoopie Cushion is one of the creatures, along with dream Doozers and Gorgs, who inhabits Boober Fraggle's dream world, the domain of Sidebottom. The cushion zooms around the landscape, and periodically utters excited cries of "Whoopie!"

Detail of the Flying Whoopie Cushion puppet from The Jim Henson Company 70th Anniversary Auction in 2025. It is a rod puppet with a string attachment to operate the mouth. The body is a stretchy velvet fabric with applique detailing, with a foam tongue spray painted pink. Two small bean bags are attached to the puppet's two back corners to weigh the puppet down and keep it balanced.[1]
