Foley (short for Folicia[1]) is a monster who hosts The Sesame Street Podcast with Foley & Friends.
Foley hosts the podcast with her sidekick Mikee the Microphone from the Sesame Street Community Center. She possesses the ability to realistically reproduce sound effects vocally. Her name reflects that, referencing the industry term for post-production sound effects (itself coined after Universal Pictures sound man Jack Foley).
Sound effects run in the family, as revealed when her uncle Simon Soundman visits in the first season finale "Family." In the same episode, Foley says her immediate family consists of herself and her two dads. Her pets are a guinea pig named Tweeter and a dog named Subwoofer (both references to sound speaker equipment).
