Template:Ndr It annoys Rumpel that the princess, in the fairy tale "The Princess and the Pea", are so beautiful and sensitive. Samson and Annette imagine how the story could be if it was written by a Grouch. The princess would be hairy and quarrelsome, sings absolutely hideous, like mud baths and loves to sleep until one o'clock, and the pea would be replaced by at least ten cans of peas under the mattress.

- Prairie Dawn interviews The Princess from "The Princess and the Pea", who can't seem to get to sleep. Prairie suspects it's the pea under the mattress that's preventing her sleep, but it turns out she needs the pea to sleep on, as she has gotten so used to sleeping on it. (EKA: Folge 2354)
- Ernie conducts an experiment. He wants to see if Bert can sleep while Ernie sits at his drums and doesn't play them. Fortunately for him, Bert can't get to sleep that night, so Ernie drums away. (EKA: Folge 2246)
