Rumpel's latest invention is a dishwasher, only it makes things dirty instead of clean. Since he doesn't have any clean dishes of his own, he takes a pot from Nils, who is not thrilled with the result. Rumpel shows the machine has an option to repair it, but there's a slight hiccup with the pot afterwards.

Both Ernie and Bert are thirsty. Bert is excited as he discovers a empty bottle on the ground. Ernie wonders why Bert is so excited, as the bottle is empty. It turns out that Bert is excited because the bottle cap is one that he is missing in his collection, and starts to search the area for more bottles. (EKA: Folge 2389)

Ernie and Bert: Guess What's Next — Bert tries to play a pattern game with Ernie using paper clips and bottle caps.

The Wolf vom Wörtersee drops some trash in the lake by accident, and the Wörterfee asks him if he knows who did it and he says no. The Wörterfee suspects that Wolf is lying, so she tells him that if he lies his legs will get shorter. Wolf gets very worried that his legs will get shorter, so he does what he can to get the trash out, but he just ends up with more stuff in the water. When the fairy returns, Wolf confesses that it was him and pleads her not to give him short legs. She informs him that it's just an expression, so Wolf is happy to keep his current legs.

Cowboy Telly Monster pretends to ride the range and lassos a “stray doggie,” i.e Oscar, who refuses to play along and has him beat it. Instead, Telly continues playing by Oscar's trash can and pretending he's spying on some bad guys. He finds his way on top of the can as if it's a large rock and sits on it, preventing Oscar from opening the lid.
