Food is a strange looking creature who made an appearance in a Christmas-themed Land of Gorch sketch in 1975, as the Christmas Dinner. He was performed by Frank Oz.

Food made one cameo appearance on The Muppet Show episode 422 as a trumpet player. He was also seen in Fraggle Rock during the first season, as a background creature, making it one of the oldest puppets to appear on Fraggle Rock.
