Food is a strange looking creature who made an appearance in a Christmas-themed Land of Gorch sketch from Saturday Night Live (1975), as the Christmas Dinner.

Food made one cameo appearance on The Muppet Show episode 422 as a trumpet player. He was also seen in Fraggle Rock during the first season, as a background creature; making it one of the oldest puppets to appear on Fraggle Rock.
