"Forty Miles" is a Sesame Street song from Episode 2535.
A pair of migrating birds, Peter-Paul and Marilou, sing to Big Bird about their efforts to fly south. They first started off a mere one mile away from their nest back home, but kept on flapping until they reached Sesame Street, forty miles from home, and stopped to take a rest.
