Maddox just reminded me of this on Twitter... There was a little website called "World's Greatest Sesame Street Finger Puppets" that was online from about 2009-2013, as an offshoot of the Mego Museum site. The site had amazing research on the 1970s Sesame Street figures from Questor, Topper, CBS Toys/Gabriel, Vicma and Gruner+Jahr. He also included the Kermit finger puppet from the UK Muppet Show finger puppets (Palitoy).
These offer a fantastic analysis of the toys, and the differences between them. I think there may be some errors in the timelines of the toy companies, which I corrected on our wiki pages. (Toy company names are often difficult, because there are so many mergers, and often one company will buy another, and still use the second company's brand name on their toys.) So the company names in the screencaps may not match exactly with what's on the wiki.
In 2011, I took screencaps of all the information pages, and I hung on to them, figuring if the site went down then I could post them here. Then naturally I forgot all about it. :) So here are the screencaps! I also have a lot of the assets which I'll post as well. —Danny

Here are the pics that I copied from the site. It looks like I only kept the pics that we didn't have a good picture for already. Some pics have been added to the wiki pages since then, so some of these may also be duplicates... —Danny

- Wow! These are awesome. The information about the different molds is really nice. I've never been able to notice any differences between all the versions (or at least I've never looked closely enough), but all the side-by-sides help. The Sesamstrasse ones are great, too! - Maddox (talk) 02:14, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
