This Copyright Catalog listing from 2004 (registration # RE0000897115 if the link doesn't work) refers to the Baby Koozebanian Creatures as "Koozbanian pups," as does the label at the MOMI exhibit. Anyone support a name change? - Oscarfan (talk) 00:21, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

The link doesn't work. How do I look it up with the reference number? β€”Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 18:35, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
Go to the main page, type lowercase re0000897115 in the box, make sure the search by registration number option is chosen (which is where the lowercase instruction is), blick "Begin Search." Here's the most pertinent text: "Koozebanian pup. By Henson Associates, Inc. Copyright Claimant: Jim Henson Company, Inc. (PWH) Basis of Claim: New Matter: puppet."
Looking around, I found some other cryptic names like "Darlene Whack" and "Jonathan Whack" registered in 1985. Whether for something unproduced or some bit characters whose names we never knew, who knows. -- Andrew Emoji-droolAdminsig 18:51, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the instructions. It seems that URLs are session-based, but if you generate the link as a search query, like this, it sets you up for a new search with the correct parameters.
And yeah, I like "Koozebanian Pups" as a proper name for our Baby Koozebanian Creatures article, which I think we just came up with because it was descriptive. I don't see any conflicts in materials I've gotten from Henson otherwise, so yeah, let's go with it. β€”Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 19:13, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
It's less klunky too, so I third the motion. -- Andrew Emoji-droolAdminsig 19:16, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
FWIW - in addition to the MOMI exhibit placards and copyright listing, Jim Henson's Red Book used the term "Koozebanian Pups" in a post from 2011 as well. - BradFraggle (talk) 19:23, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
