As you guys probably know, the Emmys recently hosted their first awards ceremony dedicated solely to children's content, and several Muppet and Henson productions were nominated or won this year. I would like to add this information to the Wiki but I don't know where it should go. The Daytime Emmy Awards page mentions that the Children's & Family Emmy Awards was moved to a separate ceremony, but it doesn't have its own page on the Wiki.
Should the nominees/winners of this year's Children's and Family Emmy Awards be added to the Daytime Emmy Awards article, or should a separate article be created for the Children's and Family Emmy Awards? -LunaFraggle (talk) 01:29, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- I say a separate page; it's an entirely new thing with a new ceremony and everything. - Shane

- Now that it's actually been held, it might work, although I'm slightly concerned in case they move it back next year. Right now Children's & Family Emmy Awards is a redirect because the version created in November was just a badly handled cut and paste of nominees, without sourcing where it was copied from, proper wiki formatting, or even knowing an airdate for the ceremony, and that same editor had previously pasted badly text about the split on to the main Daytime Emmy page. Now that the ceremony has happened, we have a much better basis for an article, but the daytime page would still need tidying so they fit rather than weird repetition. -- Andrew

- Yeah. The real issue was basically that a bad page was made just as a text dump. -- Andrew

- I agree that it would probably be best if a new page was created for the Children's and Family Emmys. But although I said that wanted to add it to the Muppet Wiki, I've realized that I'm not qualified to create the page myself. I don't have enough experience with creating pages to know exactly what should be written in the description or how the page should be formatted. The Emmy Awards and Daytime Emmy Awards are formatted slightly differently, so I don't know what would work best for the Children's and Family Emmys. If someone else could make the page I would be happy to help edit it, but I'm afraid I won't be able to make it myself. -LunaFraggle (talk) 03:52, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
