I added a section on omissions to The Muppet Show on our Disney+ article. It looks like not every regional version of the service got the same episodes. Those should be pretty straightforward to track as editors from different count report in. What might be a little trickier is figuring out which segments are cut from episodes that don't show up as 26 minutes (or 27 on desktop for some software reason). For example, Episode 201: Don Knotts is only 21 minutes and Episode 212: Bernadette Peters is only 24 minutes. Just noting them here for now because I didn't want to edit the article just to say they were shorter without noting what's missing. —Scott (talk) 12:53, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Here's the complete (?) list of episodes that appear to have cuts in the US, just judging by the runtime:
- This doesn't account for potential cuts in the episodes that are shown as running for 27 minutes. I suspect it will take longer to go through all of those. But this is at least a start. —Scott (talk) 13:05, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Perfect example of an episode showing 27 minutes, but still having a cut: Episode 518: Marty Feldman is missing the "Sesame Street Theme". —Scott (talk) 13:36, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Here's what someone on Reddit pointed out was cut. - Oscarfan (talk) 14:32, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- The cuts mentioned in the Reddit thread are the same in Europe. Henrik (talk) 14:59, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- The episode order and numbering doesn't seem to match any of the orders on our list. Thoughts on adding the D+ order on there? I'm having a hard time scrolling around trying to find some episodes; being able to look up, for example, that Juliet Prowse is S1 E22 on D+ would be helpful. - BradFraggle (talk) 15:12, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Yeah, a page on "The Muppet Show on Disney+" might be a good idea to track all of this without overwhelming the Disney+ article with the minutiae of episode orders, cuts, warnings and other notes. - BradFraggle (talk) 16:12, 19 February 2021 (UTC)

- I just got the full-screen warning in front of Episode 402: Crystal Gayle. I've played that episode at least three times today (I can't get "River Road" out of my head) and I didn't get the warning the other times. I'm also hearing reports from other folks in the US getting them on episodes when others did not. For example, I didn't get it on Episode 503: Joan Baez, but a friend of mine did. So, I wonder if these aren't locked into specific episodes, and they're just popping up at random. —Scott (talk) 23:03, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- I got the 18 (we were missing Marty Feldman). I went through all the episodes and captured the rating too. Some are TV-G (24 episodes) but most are TV-PG... and some have an added "V" for violence (on 15 episodes) and the aforementioned tobacco warnings (on 23 episodes). I put them all on The Muppet Show on Disney+ along with putting the episodes in the D+ order.
- I did figure out that the negative depictions warning doesn't come up when you restart an episode that you left in progress... so if you're rewatching and didn't let the episode fully finish last time (and so you "resume" rather than "play") you might not see it. - BradFraggle (talk) 16:31, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
- I updated the tobacco list here too. Oddly there are a few episodes where we've recorded instances of Muppets/guests smoking, but they not tagged with the "contains tobacco depictions" warning on D+ (mostly stuff in the fourth season). And there are a few episodes that without rewatching, I'm not sure where the tobacco is (I noted who smokes above, feel free to update). - BradFraggle (talk) 20:36, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
- Am I seeing things, or did Disney just update and reorder the episodes on Disney+ to match the traditional production order numbers we all know and love? - BradFraggle (talk) 03:54, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
They did, yes. - Oscarfan (talk) 05:41, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- I've been in touch with them. It may change one more time to properly reflect season 4's numbering. —Scott (talk) 15:40, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- I tried to add a little bit of context and explanation as to why the negative depictions of people/cultures warning may appear on the 18 episodes that hit does (see above). Feel free update/add/adjust. - BradFraggle (talk) 21:43, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
