With the news of a new series focused on Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem coming to Disney+, I figured it was time to give our article on the band a makeover. Right now it's pretty list-y and mainly just focuses on them as an act on The Muppet Show (the lead of the article doesn't even mention Animal or Zoot... and then there's an image farm growing at the bottom). Rather than make of mess of the article as it stands right now and make too many waves with a total rehaul, I started tinkering on Sandbox:Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem -- doing a first rough pass at trying to expand our coverage with some prose and cleaning up and expanding the format to better cover the band's 47-year history.
Trying to find a balance between what's worthy of covering on the band's page as a group, and what's better suited for the individual character pages; trying to balance the 70s/80s and the more modern stuff; trying to figure out what's notable in their overall history and what's trivial, redundant or just listcrufty; would love to dig up more behind the scenes quotes about the band; and trying to avoid the "and then they did X, and then they did Y, and then they did Z" style that comes from basically turning a filmography into paragraphs without adding extra info or phrasing.
