Participation in the Muppet Wiki Forums requires a full understanding of the Rules and Etiquette.
Hi folks. I've noticed that several of our regular Wiki users (discounting administrators) have sporadically focused on editing a large number of articles in one setting. While we appreciate these good faith edits and we can always use the extra help, the lack of proper discussion before these mass changes are made has become more of a recurring problem recently, and it often results in just-as-arduous clean-up work. Therefore, with admin approval, I've added the following note to Muppet Wiki:Style Guide#Editing to reduce the amount of back-and-forthing:
Responses will vary, but if we have to define overwhelming and unanimous in numbers, a mass edit proposal has to reach a threshold of five votes, and the affirmative majority vote should be no less than 4/5. โ Jon (talk) 01:35, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
