The Dutch Sesamstraat album Verloor Mijn Koekie in de Disco from 1982 ends with a Forgetful Jones and Clementine song I have not seen pop up on the Wiki yet. "Hij had nog niet ontbeten" ("He hadn't had breakfast yet").
In the song, Clementine sings that Forgetful Jones is feeling bad and has low energy, because he forgot to eat breakfast. Forgetful, in his verse, acknowledges his mistake. At the end of the song he decides to finally eat breakfast, but Clementine says that it's time for lunch.
Memory is obviously not a source on the Wiki, but for what it's worth I've seen this bit on Sesamstraat several times. It took place in the same exterior daytime prairie setting as some of the other songs from their debut year ("The day we first met", which is also on the album, and "The song of Forgetful Jones"), not on the street or inside a cabin etc.
Judging by the year 1982, I think it's safe to assume that it was taped during Michael Earl's era. There are no post-season 12 songs on the record album.
Has this scene ever been featured on the domestic Sesame Street, or appeared in a script? Or is this another lost bit? Anders De Wit (talk) 12:56, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- I just went through the season 12 guides (the Michael Earl season) and I don't recall seeing it there. -- MuppetDude (talk) 14:03, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
- I did the same thing yesterday. I couldn't find the song on the Wiki and I was surprised that it wasn't in any of those episodes. -- Anders De Wit (talk) 14:25, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
