There's been some news about Warner Brothers business moves that are resulting in the removal of some Sesame Street content from HBO Max. This includes "The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo" in addition to "unspecified select group of ‘Sesame Street’ specials,” according to this article from Variety. Is this the kind of update to add to Muppet Wiki sooner, or is it better to wait until it actually happens? I guess I'm asking if these kinds of edits related to ongoing/pending news should be made as they happen or more after the fact? Abe Plaut (talk) 19:41, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, Abe! That's a good question, and the fact that the situation is developing is a factor as you guessed. For The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo, there's already a note, which I've tweaked (first version was worded to imply it had already been removed). A Deadline article uses the phrase "Select Sesame Street Specials." I think on that one, it's better to take the after the fact approach (which we usually do when titles leave services, as we usually don't have heads ups, but in this case I think it's too vague to really work in as it would have to be replaced with specifics later anyway.) -- Andrew 20:47, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
