Spinning from another thread, I'm wondering how I can use the "What Links Here" feature to search when certain inserts have appeared on Sesame Street. For example, say I want to find out how frequently the show has aired the "Some, More, Most Hair" animation. Usually the "What Links Here" works for certain pages, like songs. When I tap on one of the guide's pictures, I get a bigger version of that image with no links.

Is there any way I can use the image address to track its appearance on other pages? -- MuppetDude (talk) 16:24, August 22, 2020 (UTC)

https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/File:(Image name) should help. Oscarfan (talk) 16:32, August 22, 2020 (UTC)
After a bit of experimentation, I got it to work! Thanks a lot! I'll make sure to bookmark it for reference as well when I'm not logged in. -- MuppetDude (talk) 16:45, August 22, 2020 (UTC)

Tony, to access WhatLinksHere with the episode guide images directly (though as you noticed having it as one of your tools only works if you're logged in), it's a multi-step process. You need to first tap (don't open in a new window). Look at the upper left. If your cursor is there, it will show the file name. Click *that* (not fullsize image) and then you can use WhatLinksHere from there. You get the same result if you click "More info" on the right. -- Andrew Emoji-droolAdminsig 17:01, August 22, 2020 (UTC)
I primarily use a mobile device, in desktop mode. I don't get that window very often (hence why I get a bigger image, with no links as pictured.) Is this common for such a device? -- MuppetDude (talk) 17:14, August 22, 2020 (UTC)
It should be noted that WhatLinksHere probably doesn't work logged out for files because file landing pages don't work while you're logged out. Anonymous users just get redirected to the page that uses that file the most. โ€”Scott latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 18:38, August 22, 2020 (UTC)
Tony, I have the same problem on a mobile device, even when logged in! Here's a (little bit of a clumsy) walk-around: On the page that you found the image, tap the thumbnail, but drag your finger away from it without "clicking" on it. The small info-circle (i) should appear at the bottom right hand side of the thumbnail, just like it does when you hover over the thumbnail with your cursor. Now try to click/tap precisely on that (i), and it'll pull up the image's file page. Here, you should be able to find the "File usage" links to the other pages that use it. Related to that, Scott posted a great plugin that is worth adding!
Hope that works for you! โ€” Julian Emoji-searchlatest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 15:32, August 27, 2020 (UTC)
