Of course Jim Henson was right handed. Of course Kermit plays the banjo like a lefty. But what photographic or video evidence is there showing which hand Kermit writes with? Just thought this might be an interesting topic to examine. Galenfott (talk) 19:10, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
- The loose rules seems to be that characters played by right-handed puppeteers perform their instruments left-handed. But you're right, they couldn't really be called "lefties" as they've been seen writing with their right hand. Kermit, for example, in Episode 103: Power and Wow, You're a Cartoonist! —Scott

- Ah. I see why you posted this now. @KermitTheFrog "Let's give a big hand for #InternationalLeftHandersDay! I hope all of my fellow lefties have a terrific day. Me? I'll be spending today playing my favorite tunes on my left-handed banjo!" —Scott

- He writes left handed in The Muppet Christmas Carol. So perhaps he's, as someone said, "amphibidextrous". Unless...it was merely Kermit's decision as an actor to play Bob Cratchit as left handed! Galenfott (talk) 13:40, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- But he's a lefty here too: https://youtu.be/_dZfObvf2CA Galenfott (talk) 15:38, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
