Dawn recently added (here) a note that Jerry Nelson dubbed Floyd in Studio DC Hosted by Dylan and Cole Sprouse. First, thanks Dawn for sourcing the addition, excellent work.
A couple things I wanted to bring up in reference to the accompanying sound samples. Floyd is clearly being dubbed by Jerry in the Miley Cyrus bit, but it's not him in the later two segments. I can't tell if it's Matt Vogel still figuring out the character (he doesn't sound like Matt's modern Floyd) or someone else.
As for Janice, the last clip of her sounds like early David Rudman (his Janice has also evolved since then), but Janice in the Miley clip doesn't sound like him at all. Anyone know who it might be?
Also, how do we note this on the appropriate pages? Jerry seems to have only dubbed one very short line. It's not super notable, but it is proof he was still involved with the character at this late time. —Scott (talk) 16:29, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- No clue who's voicing Janice at the beginning, but it's definitely David for the latter. And it sounds like Jerry for the first clip, but Matt for the rest when compared to A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa. -- Tony (talk) 16:45, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- Well, no, there's Studio DC Hosted by Dylan and Cole Sprouse (where the band is with Miley) and Studio DC Hosted by Selena Gomez (where the band is with Demi). - Shane (talk) 17:00, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
- (first off, I'm still a newbie to fandom so sorry if I didn't make this fourm post correctly), but after thinking it was Tyler Bunch for a sec, I rechecked and realized, the original comment Matt made on Muppet Newflash also mentioned it WAS David Rudman. -- User:DawnofaNewDay456 16:57, 13 August 2023
- I can't even find some of those clips as they're not in any episode footage that I can find online. - Zach 17:00, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
- What Zach meant was the bits with Floyd making the fowl pun and Floyd and Janice telling Demi to be herself are not in the version of Studio DC Hosted by Selena Gomez that is on YouTube. That's because the DVD (which was never released in America) has extended versions of both specials. -- Anthony (talk) 04:19, August 15, 2023 (UTC)
