So I know there's been a lot of speculation and debate on who actually provided the backing vocals outside of Moss' bass vocals for Big Jeffie in the album version of "MAD!" (for instance, I once thought a long time ago Frank Oz and Matt Robinson provided vocals which I don't even know why I thought that because neither voices even sound like them), and then years later I thought Spinney and Chris Cerf were in the album version (the Spinney part I took out because it was an ear guess edit on my part which I no longer do, now that we have many sources to look up this information, even if unfortunately not every segment has that information, and it looks like all documents providing that info has been burned through), but I will say, after getting more familiar with Moss' voice outside of songs where he provides bass vocals (including ones outside of Little Jerry's and Little Chrissy's songs), I have been listening to the album version of the song the past couple days and can't help but notice it actually sounds like Moss may have been providing all of the backing vocals in the album version of that song. From listening to the "Yeah, we're angry! Very, very angry!" portions of the song, the whiney, high voice shows some hints of Moss' voice when it gets very high (notably when the Pink Alphabeat shouts "TEEEEEEEEEEN!" after whoever was puppeteering the Green member lip-syncs to Jerry's "Niiiiiiine...." (twice, purposely or not), and the other voice has some hints of Jeffy from "I'm Going to Get My Haircut" and the Green member in the "Count It Higher" performance (who was also voiced by Moss). And if that is the case, it probably would make sense since it was an album cover and he already provided the introduction in that version of the song. Thoughts? I honestly don't think it matters. - Shane latest?cb=20200820192427 (talk) 18:57, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
