Hey guys, I had an idea. You know how the part of The Muppet Show Theme where Kermit announces the guest star from the show's "O"? Well, I think we should make an article (or at least a sandbox) describing its evolution, because from what I've been seeing, the title card went through seven different changes throughout the show's run, three in Season 1, once in Season 2, two in Season 3, and one in Season 4 (which was also used for Season 5). What do you guys think? Feel free to share your thoughts. -Jonathan (talk) 20:51, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
Can you put something together in the Sandbox to help better visualize? —Scott (talk) 12:10, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
Sure thing. -Jonathan (talk) 12:20, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
Here's an article I put together: [[Sandbox:The Muppet Show Title Card Through the Years]] -Jonathan (talk) 13:24, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
I don't understand what this is supposed to be showing. —Scott (talk) 13:26, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
It's supposed to show the differences between the title cards. Just so you know, it's a work in progress. -Jonathan (talk) 13:27, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
But, outside of season 1, there's no difference. They might look a little different depending on the lighting used and the point at which they pulled the camera back, but there are only two title cards used over the course of the show. —Scott (talk) 13:33, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
Really? That's surprising. -Jonathan (talk) 14:14, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
Yeah, they're all the same, just with slightly different camera angles and lighting. - Shane (talk) 14:37, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
